Broken Bow Lake and Beavers Bend Resort Park are located in southeastern Oklahoma, approximately three hours from Dallas, 3 1/2 hours from Shreveport and four hours from Oklahoma City.


From the town of Broken Bow, travel approximately 5 miles north on Hwy 259. Turn right at the "Green" Beavers Bend Resort sign.

You will go approximately 1.1 mile and turn at the white "Southern Hills" sign on your right. Once you are in Southern Hills, take the first road to the left. You will travel approximately 1/2 mile, where you will come to a fork in the road. Go left and Castlewood Trails is the first cabin on the right.

If you need to purchase groceries or supplies, you'll want to get them in either Idabel or Broken Bow. Both have grocery stores and a Wal-Mart.


Dallas/Fort Worth area
Take I30 North. Exit 259, which is approximately 1 hour past Greenville. Traveling on 259 north, you'll pass through Idabel and Broken Bow.

Once you leave the town of Broken Bow, you're only 5 miles away. Remember, look for the green Beavers Bend sign, then follow the directions provided above.

Oklahoma City
The map provided maps a route using Interstate 40, exiting 240A (Indian Nation turnpike S), then going East on Hwy 3. Hwy 3 will take you into the town of Broken Bow. In Broken Bow, you'll take 259 north, then follow the directions provided above.

An alternate route would be to take Interstate 35 South and exit east on Hwy 70. This will take you into Idabel. In Idabel, you take 259 north. Passing through Broken Bow, you stay on 259 and exit at the green Beavers Bend sign then follow the directions provided above.

Shreveport
Take 71 north out of Shreveport remaining on 71 to DeQueen Arkansas. Exit 70 West in DeQueen to Broken Bow. Take 259 North in Broken Bow. Stay on 259 and exit at the green Beavers Bend sign then follow the directions provided above.
